Your daily tasks will adapt to the evolving needs of the clinic, ensuring personalized and attentive service.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up-to-date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings under supervision.Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary patient testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.Distribute educational materials and support patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized, maintaining sterile instruments and functional equipment.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the practice's smooth operation.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.This role offers a warm, collaborative environment in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, providing opportunities to grow your clinical skills and make a meaningful impact on patient lives.
