You’ll analyze user requirements, evaluate alternative concepts, and lead design and development activities aligned with DoDAF and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA). From crafting Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and allocating real-time performance budgets to leading Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and verifying system integration plans, you will ensure the complete technical integrity of our most vital deliverables. If you bring deep engineering rigor, exceptional communication skills, and an authentic drive to solve high-stakes national security challenges, Team Nyla wants you leading the way with us!\n\nThe annual base salary range for this role is $216,000-$256,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.\n\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nSystems Engineering Leadership: Deep expertise leading system requirements analysis, CONOPS development, and full-lifecycle engineering management for large-scale production systems.\n\nArchitecture Frameworks (DoDAF/SOA): Proven proficiency managing system and derived requirements compliant with DoDAF, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and complex enterprise frameworks.\n\nSystems Engineering Documentation: Hands-on experience developing System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).\n\nCross-Disciplinary Coordination & Verification: Experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), coordinating CCB action items, allocating real-time process/error budgets, and defining system verification and test plans.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 20+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 25+ years of hands-on technical software development and big data administration experience in lieu of a degree.\n,\nDesired Skills\n\nDeep nderstanding of Program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Work Packages, and Integrated Master Plans (IMP).\nExperience interacting directly with senior government stakeholders and program executives on critical technical trade-offs and issue resolutions.\nStrong leadership, creative problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for bringing clarity to complex, multi-system environments.\n,\nAbout Nyla Technology Solutions\n\nNyla Technology Solutions delivers exceptional Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Software Engineering services for the U.S. Government.
