Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.As a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.What you’ll doInstall, configure, and troubleshoot container platforms and related componentsPerform in-depth analysis for post-impact resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), remedial actions, and problem managementTroubleshoot CI/CD pipelinesPerform production releases adhering to change management guidelinesParticipate in our Infrastructure Support team’s daily stand-ups, review open issues, and establish prioritiesContribute to managing the container support team’s incident and request queue and address tickets in a timely mannerManage and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) integrated authentication on containersMonitor cluster performance, analyze logs, and proactively address issues, while collaborating with cross-functional teams as neededProvide operational support and guidance to application development teamsCreate and maintain documentation, runbooks, and best practicesWhat’s RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 3-5 years of experience working as a platform engineer in a production environment, with experience in system administrationStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms such as git, Bitbucket, Ansible, GitOps, and/or TerraformExperience with cloud compute platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCPStrong experience with Ansible for automation or other configuration management platformsFamiliarity with CSI drivers and storage integrations for Kubernetes and cloud platformsDemonstrated proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash, for automation and task scriptingStrong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services relevant to cloud and container platforms, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, ingress/egress, and service networkingExperience implementing and operating monitoring, metrics, and alerting solutions for cloud and container platforms, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot performance and reliability issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWe take care of our peopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
