Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) — Spravato® Treatment Clinician (Part-Time, On-Site/Hybrid) - Psychiatric Experience preferredLocation: Huntingdon Valley, PASchedule: Part-time / 1099 ContractorOrganization: Journey ClinicalJourney Clinical is hiring an NP/PA to conduct psychiatric intake evaluations and provide in-person monitoring for Spravato® (esketamine nasal spray) sessions hosted at partner therapist offices. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys structured outpatient care, values patient experience, and wants to expand access to evidence-based treatment for depression.Spravato sessions are delivered in small cohorts (3-4 patients) and require 2+ hours of on-site monitoring in accordance with FDA REMS requirements.This role offers the opportunity to participate in the growing field of psychedelic and innovative mental health treatments in a flexible clinical environment.What You’ll DoConduct psychiatric intake evaluations and screening to determine Spravato eligibilityPrescribe Spravato and initiate documentation for insurance prior authorizationProvide on-site clinical support during Spravato® dosing sessions (patients self-administer nasal spray)Monitor patients during the observation period (vitals, safety checks, symptom monitoring)Complete required documentation accurately and on timeCoordinate with Journey Clinical operations and partner sites to ensure smooth patient flowSupport a calm, safe environment for small cohorts (typically 3-4 patients per session block)Schedule & LocationPart-time / per-diem (1099 contractor)Sessions often scheduled evenings/weekends (varies by site)Travel to partner therapist offices within an agreed-upon radiusRequired QualificationsActive NP or PA license in the state of practiceCurrent, unrestricted DEA registrationWillingness to register/associate your DEA registration to partner site address(es) as needed for Spravato® operationsComfort with outpatient monitoring and responding to clinical changes (e.g., blood pressure changes, anxiety, dissociation)Strong documentation skills and reliability with protocolsWillingness to complete required program training (Spravato® REMS-related processes) Ideal candidates will have psychiatry experience; ketamine/esketamine, TMS, infusion, or other monitoring workflowsCompensationCompetitive hourly/per-session rate We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
