Laboratory Technician

At Air Dynamics Testing, our main objective is to serve our clients by collecting accurate/reliable data, and samples for analysis and data quantification. We test a wide variety of pollutants emitted through a stack into the atmosphere by our clients that the EPA regulates. The data and samples we collect in the field will be quantified and put into a report that is then submitted to our clients and then submitted to the State EPA. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As the Lab Tech, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our lab. You will play a crucial role in our lab operations, contributing to the processing, analysis, and management of lab samples, data, and supplies. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to be safety conscious adhering to all lab safety protocols for a safe working environment. Our Company Core Values: ● Others First ● Integrity ● Winning Position: ● Part-time - hours varying from 20 to 25 hours per week. ● In-person Responsibilities: ● Processing in-house particulate samples ● Particulate reports ● Shipping lab samples to 3rd party labs ● Submitting data to project managers ● Ordering of lab supplies ● Stocking of reagents and supplies ● Have or willing to obtain haz mat shipping certification ● Establish and maintain lab certifications ● Lab safety knowledge and understanding ● Lab safety data sheet records ● On-site analysis (out of state), if needed (rare occurrence) ● Chain of custody records ● Other tasks as requested by the Operations Manager Qualifications: ● Lab technician experience, preferred ● Strong organizational and multitasking skills ● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ● Knowledge of lab safety and hazardous material handling ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Proficient in using standard laboratory equipment and software ● Good communication and interpersonal skills ● Ability to adhere to all lab safety protocols ● Strong problem-solving skills ● Strong analytical skills Compensation: ● $20.00 - $23.00 / hour based on experience level Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends Ability to Commute: Plainfield, IN 46168 (Required) Work Location: In person
