This job category will have three levels: entry, mid-level, and Senior. Based on the interview results, WMATA will determine which category a candidate will be assigned.\nDuties\nDevelop and manage project budgets for all technology projects.\nDevelop Earned Value reports for each project.\nDaily cost tracking and controls\nDevelop Pro-forma invoices for all cost-reimbursable projects.\nDevelop monthly financial summary reports for all projects.\nPerforming invoice reconciliations and approval of all Verizon telecommunication invoices\nInterfacing with internal accounting departments to ensure proper budgeting and accounting codes are current and updated to date.\nDevelop processes to obtain timely project cost information from accounting systems.\nKnowledge, Abilities, Skills\nSpecific technical skills required or desired for this position include:\nBudget and cost tracking\nExperience using budget preparation and control systems\nExceptional public speaking and presentation skills\nStrong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization.\nProficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications.\nDemonstrated ability to produce the required deliverables.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRecent verifiable experience working on Transit industry budget and cost control applications,\nknowledge of Verizon services and products, and familiarity with Enterprise Carrier billing\nsystems.\nMinimum 5 years of experience working on telephony systems.\nKnowledge of networking and telephony technologies\nKnowledge of Financial concepts and Budgeting\nDeveloping and manage project budgets for all technology projects\nRequired\n7\nYears\nDeveloping pro-forma invoices for all cost reimbursable projects and monthly Financial Summary reports\nRequired\n7\nYears\nInterfacing with internal accounting departments to ensure proper budgets are used, accounting codes are current and update to date\nRequired\n7\nYears\nDeveloping processes to obtain timely project cost information from accounting systems\nRequired\n7\nYears\nStrong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization\nRequired\n7\nYears\nProficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications\nRequired\n7\nYears\nIBM MaaS360, Microsoft Office 365/10, Microsoft Exchange, Windows10 Enterprise, Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, Citrix, SharePoint, Remotely Anywhere, Dam\nRequired\n7\nYears\nConducts research for mobile device equipment, accessories, and airtime services.
