{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3e200a514a8b72b5377bdb6e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3e200a514a8b72b5377bdb6e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3e200a514a8b72b5377bdb6e","title":"Program Lead","description":"Description:\n\nSUMMARY OF POSITION:\n\nFulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps and guest groups by helping to plan, prepare, and lead all aspects of the summer camp schedule.\n\nGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nHelp run camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence\nComplete staff training and follow all camp policies\nStay spiritually and physically fit to minister\nBecome familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds\nOversee, encourage, and provide feedback and accountability to other staff as part of the summer leadership team\n\nSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nMaintain a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ\nLead and support all members of the summer staff team in delivering safe, fun, and excellent summer camp programming by: Building relationships with staff and campers; Planning and leading skits, silly songs, and icebreaker games; Gathering and transporting activity supplies; Equipping support staff to assist and/or lead planned activities.\nObey and enforce all camp rules and policies\nRun activity sites according to Grace procedures including (but not limited to): Target Sports: Slingshots, archery, BB guns, 22's, shotguns, laser tag; Waterfront: Canoes & kayaks, swimming, blobbing; High Adventure: Climbing tower, ropes course, zipline; Outdoor Activities: Biking, group games; Cooperatives and Teambuilding\nAttend all staff meetings\nAssist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence\nSupport Community Worship as assigned\nOther duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)\n\nPOSITION TYPE: Seasonal\n\nHOUSING: Provided throughout contract dates\n\nMEALS: Provided throughout contract dates whenever campers or guests are being served\n\nRequirements:\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nHave a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ\nLove for kids and adults and the ability to communicate with them\nGood health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
