Construction accounting or certified-payroll experience is helpful, but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n* Review employee timecards for completeness, correct job assignments, and accuracy.\n* Follow up with employees and supervisors regarding missing or incorrect time entries.\n* Prepare and submit certified payroll reports.\n* Monitor certified payroll submissions and follow up until reports are approved.\n* Assist with prevailing-wage documentation and compliance records.\n* Enter estimates, job information, and project details into company systems.\n* Review and update work-in-progress project information.\n* Maintain accurate project and job-cost records.\n* Clean up and review job-profit reports with Estimators.\n* Prepare and compile job and financial reports to estimators and management.\n* Post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.\n* Maintain organized electronic and paper project records.\n* Monitor assigned email communications and respond or follow up as needed.\n* Coordinate with the Project Coordinator, accounting staff, estimators, field supervisors, and management.\n* Complete other accounting, project, and administrative assignments as needed.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\n* Dependable attendance and punctuality.\n* Ability to organize competing priorities and meet recurring weekly deadlines.\n* Clear and professional written and verbal communication.\n* Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and detailed records.\n* Ability to follow established procedures and ask questions when clarification is needed.\n* Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling payroll and employee information.\n* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general office software.\n* Previous administrative, payroll, bookkeeping, or construction-office experience is preferred.\n* QuickBooks, timekeeping software, certified payroll, prevailing-wage, or construction job-costing experience is preferred but not required.\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\n\n* $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.\n* Consistent Monday–Thursday schedule from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.\n* Approximately 28 hours per week.\n* On-the-job training.\n* Education and job-related training reimbursement opportunities.\n* Medical insurance eligibility after 60 days, subject to plan terms and employee eligibility.\n* Two weeks of vacation after one year of employment, in accordance with company policy.\n* Washington paid sick leave.\n* Opportunity to develop experience in construction accounting, certified payroll, prevailing-wage compliance, and project administration.\n\nThe successful candidate must be able to work independently, communicate when assistance is needed, and consistently complete time-sensitive assignments.\n\nTo apply, please submit a résumé and a brief description of your relevant administrative, payroll, accounting, or construction experience.\n\nWCCL Systems, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
