Job Title: Director of People ServicesLocation: Missoula, MTJob Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.Employee Relations & Union Management:Oversee all employee relations, including handling complex union matters, labor relations, grievance resolution, and collective bargaining negotiations.Talent Management:Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention strategies to build a strong and engaged workforce.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure the organization’s compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR policies, minimizing legal risks and maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.Compensation & Benefits:Direct the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with organizational objectives and employee needs.Organizational Development:Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, professional development, and continuous improvement.HR Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee support.Must-Haves Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience in a leadership role.Nice-To-Haves Certifications:Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.Industry Experience:Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.Advanced Education:Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
