Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. With a standard academic year schedule, enjoy consistency and meaningful professional relationships with staff and students alike.Key Qualifications:Valid Kansas School Psychologist license requiredExperience working with K-12 student populations preferredStrong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and consultationAbility to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teamsFlexibility to serve multiple schools within a 20-minute radius of EmporiaPosition Details:Academic year contract: August 20, 2026 – May 20, 2027Full-time; 37.5 hours per weekSingle assignment serving K-12 students; caseload may span Emporia and neighboring districts (all within local driving distance)Role is fully onsite, working directly with students, teachers, and administrative staffPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for IEP and eligibility meetingsProvide individual and group counseling/mental health supports as aligned with student needsDevelop and implement evidence-based interventionsCollaborate with educators and families on strategies to support student success inside and outside the classroomParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional insight on student development and behaviorSupport crisis management and prevention initiatives within the assigned schoolsImmerse yourself in a role that fosters student growth, well-being, and achievement.
