This role ensures that data is properly defined,\nsecured, governed, and usable across systems by partnering with HR business stewards,\nHR Data Analytics team, engineering teams, and stakeholders.\n\nBasic Description\nProvide technical data stewardship support to the HR Data Analytics team in managing,\ngoverning, and optimizing HR data assets. This role ensures data is accurate, secure, and\naligned with enterprise data governance standards to support analytics, reporting, and\nstrategic initiatives.\n\nResponsibilities\n1. Data Governance & Standards\n\nImplement and enforce enterprise data governance policies, standards, and\nprocedures\n\nEnsure execution of governance workstreams, including:\no Metadata management\no Enterprise quality controls\no AI ready metadata\no Data quality\no Data lifecycle management\no Policies and standards compliance\n\nMonitor adherence to technical data standards and drive compliance across the\nbusiness area\n2. Data Management & Technical Oversight\n\nOwn technical data decisions on behalf of the Business Data Owner\nProvide subject matter expertise on:\no Source systems\no Data stores and warehouses\no ETL processes and pipelines\no Business intelligence tools\n\nEnsure proper implementation of data across systems and platforms\n3. Metadata, Lineage & Cataloging\n\nBuild and maintain a data catalog, including metadata and business glossary\nEnsure data definitions, rules, and standards are clearly documented and\nconsistently applied\n\nCapture and maintain data lineage (end-to-end technical flows)\n4. Data Quality & Issue Resolution\n\nDrive root cause analysis of data quality issues and coordinate resolution with\nEnterprise data and HR Analytics teams\n\nAssist in design and implementation data quality audits, controls, and monitoring\ntools\n\nPlan and lead data cleansing and remediation initiatives\n5. Security & Risk Management\n\nPartner with Information Security, HR Data Governance and HR Data teams to\nimplement controls such as:\no Role-based access (RBAC)\no Persona based access\no Row level access\no Encryption and data protection standards\n\nEnsure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability across platforms\n6.
