Warehouse Supervisor, Nights
Description Assist the Operations Manager in supervising and executingan efficient warehouse operation. The Supervisor will be cross trainedto assist in other operational areas as order picking, shipping orreceiving. Key Accountabilities: Orient, train and develop hourly Unionemployees In conjunction with Manager, initiate disciplinary action asneeded Supervise hourly Union employees\' daily activities and holdaccountable and monitor their performance Allocate work and ensure thework schedule is completed accurately and in a timely manner Ensurecompliance with all Company policies and procedures Inform Manager ofequipment issues that impact production Maintain a clean and safe workenvironment Ensure that established priorities are maintained, andresources are properly utilized Seek continuous improvementopportunities to streamline production and reduce cost Review dailydepartment needs with Manager to ensure tasks are completed Ensureproper product handling to minimize accidents and safety issues Provideregular training and guidance to hourly employees to avoid injuriesRequirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong leadership andinterpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Ability to provideeffective, hands-on training Ability to multi-task in a demanding andfast-paced environment Education/Experience/Training: High SchoolDiploma or equivalent; College degree preferred Minimum 3-5 years ofwarehouse experience required; beverage industry preferred Experiencesupervising a multi-union workforce Hours: 40 hours/week \*Must completea background check and pre-employment drug test\*
