The campus is close to Washington, DC’s I-270 Technology Corridor, top universities, and government agencies.\nCatalent Pharma Solutions in Harmans, MD is hiring a Program Manager. Program Management (PM) interfaces between the client, operations, and business development to\ncultivate strong relationships, obtain repeat business, enhance the scope of current projects, or identify\nnew projects with existing clients. The “Patient First” mindset is central to PM and drives the team to\nguide projects to successful completion with the highest quality and expedience. PM is responsible for\ncoordinating the entire project and ensuring deadlines are met and that the project stays on budget. Team\nmembers should be inspirational, creative, and motivational when leading their project team – constantly\nchallenging ways to deliver over and above expectations\nThe Role:\nDelivers on assigned program objectives within agreed upon time, budget,\nscope, and quality.\nApplies sound project management practices within assigned projects.\nManages cross-functional, multi-site project teams and the overall project scope, budget and schedule including tech transfer.\nMaintains open, collaborative and solution focused communication with clients and\nprovides periodic updates & progress reports.\nMonitors progress of assigned programs to ensure on-time milestone and budget completion while ensuring high quality deliverables are provided to the client.\nTroubleshoot problems with some support. Often seeks and promotes innovative solutions or approaches to problem solving in a highly flexible and interactive manner as scientific data reveals new information or requirements evolve or change.\nWorks collaboratively with other program managers and acts as a program management resource for all employees.\nContributes to strengthening the capabilities of Program Management.\nDemonstrated ability to drive programs and overcome obstacles with limited\nsupport. Clear understanding of program management processes.\nEffectively communicate with an emphasis on the ability to interact in a positive\nmanner with all levels of internal and client employees and management.\nAdapts within evolving corporate & program management organizations.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nThe Candidate:\nB.S. in Science or Engineering required. Advanced degree (M.S., M.B.A., PhD) is preferred\nKnowledge and expertise in project management practices; working knowledge of biological sciences and finance; proficient computer skills required including MS Project\n5+ years’ direct experience in leading projects in a contract development or manufacturing environment\nWorking knowledge of Biologics Fermentation, Cell Culture, Purification and Analytics preferred\nProfessional experience in a related field such as Biotechnology, Pharma preferred\nExperience in Biologics preferred\nThe anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $118,720 to $163,240 plus annual bonus, when eligible.
