The selected candidates will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility located near Green Bay, WI.\nThis is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below that includes opportunities for professional growth, direct hire by our customers, and additional opportunities within our own organization.\nProject Engineer\nThis Project Engineer role involves coordinating design project tasks to meet deliverable timelines, supporting the development of mechanical components and systems across various manufacturing processes and managing project schedules and costs. The engineer will review and interpret engineering specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive new product development and product improvements.\nJob Description\nCoordinate design project tasks to ensure that deliverables are met.\nSupport the conception and development of mechanical components and systems that may include plastic processes, castings, forgings, stampings or laser cut parts, and large weldments.\nMonitor project schedule and costs.\nReview, understand, and interpret engineering specifications.\nCoordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, Product Verification & Validation, and Procurement teams.\nWork on new product development and current product improvements.\nProvide technical guidance and problem resolution.\nCoordinate material purchasing requirements, develop requisitions, and oversee vendor progress.\nFollow company procedures with regards to process & procedures.\nUse of SolidWorks to support 3-D Modeling of components\nCreation and support of 2D drawings and specification documents\nWork daily with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supply management, business managers, project managers, pricing, marketing, customer support, suppliers and dealers.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.\nMinimum 5 years project management or product development experience,\nManaged multiple small and/or medium projects.\nManagement level communication skills.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nCandidates must have excellent communication and analytical skills.\nHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments\nDesired Attributes\nExperience in 3-D Modeling Software; SolidWorks experience (Preferred)\nStrong understanding of GD&T\nDesign experience or exposure to off-road mobile equipment\nAbility to address quality issues, determine root cause and drive to a corrective action\nDesire to work in an engineering environment focusing on robust & cost effective designs\nStrong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies\nPrevious design experience or knowledge of off-road equipment\nVisa Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\nSalary Range: $80,000-$120,000 commensurate with experience\nCompetitive Benefits\nHealth and Dental Insurance\nHealth Savings Account\nTelaDoc: Virtual Health Care\nVision Insurance\nCompany Paid / Supplemental Life Insurance\nCompany Paid Long-Term Disability\nSupplemental Short-Term Disability\nRetirement Savings Account (Traditional 401k & Roth 401k)\nFlexible Spending Plan Dependent Care\nBonus Plan (Exempt Employees Only)\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nPaid Holidays\nBereavement Leave\nEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP)\nEducation Assistance\nAbout RFA Engineering\nRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
