{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3defe966302caa7e0ca67a5e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3defe966302caa7e0ca67a5e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3defe966302caa7e0ca67a5e","title":"Material Handler","description":"Job Title: Material Handler Department: Supply Chain\nFLSA: Hourly Non-Exempt Status: Full Time\nReports to: Supply Chain Manager\n\nCustomary Days: Monday - Friday\nCustomary Hours: 40 hours per week; hours may be extended when workload is increased (6pm-2am)\nPosition Summary\nThe Receiver & Material Handler is responsible for engaging in receiving, inspection, non-inventory items & inventory control activities including handling, disposition, cycle counting, and transactions of inbound and raw material, purchased component inventory, and outsourced materials.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nReceives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.\nReviews deliveries for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.\nMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.\nPrepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.\nMaintains integrity of inventory movement by utilizing E1 system to complete transactions.\nMaintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting any necessary repairs.\nOperates forklifts and other machinery to move items on the production floor and on/off trucks.\nAssist in weekly/monthly/yearly cycle counts.\nComplete all receiving functions of product, raw material, and pallets.\nLearns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.\nOther duties to assist Supply Chain department functions\nAdditional Duties\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adapt quickly to change.\nExcellent communication skills & proactive mindset.\nCompetent and knowledgeable in computer systems.\nStrong organizational and follow-up skills. Must be able to recognize priorities and have strong attention to detail.\nAdditional duties as assigned\nThis job does not have supervisory responsibilities.\nJob Requirements\n\nEducation and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nForklift certification, required\nPrevious experience in working with MRP system, preferred\nEssential Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
