In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of our applications while taking ownership of specific components and features.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET for backend services and React for frontend development\nImplement new features and enhancements to existing functionality with moderate guidance\nWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and team standards\nCreate and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with React-based frontends\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in both backend and frontend systems\nParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback\nWrite and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality\nContribute to database design and development using SQL\nStay current with relevant technologies and frameworks\nProvide occasional guidance to junior developers\n\nKnowledge and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n2+ years of professional software development experience\nStrong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET Core)\nExperience with React and its ecosystem (hooks, state management)\nProficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript\nWorking knowledge of Entity Framework or similar ORM tools\nExperience with SQL and relational database concepts\nUnderstanding of web application security principles\nExperience with version control systems (Git)\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities\n\nPreferred Knowledge and Experience\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)\nKnowledge of containerization concepts (Docker)\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture\nExperience with automated testing frameworks\nUnderstanding of responsive design and accessibility standards\nKnowledge of performance optimization techniques\n-: Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
