Develops and utilizes simulations and models. Evaluates tools, technologies, architectures, models, and test results. Heads meetings regarding AI with external parties and internal business-embedded innovation teams. Collaborates with lead engineers to define subsystem requirements and acceptance criteria. Researches AI and financial services market conditions and assists in conducting feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new AI products or services. Remains fully informed on market trends and implements best practices. Configures, codes, develops and documents software specifications throughout the project life cycle. Works with integration and test teams to develop tools and methods for verification protocols and assess results..\n\nRoles/Responsibilities:\nTen (10) years of engineering experience\nBroad Technical Acumen: Ten (10) years’ experience working across a wide range of emerging technology domains such as: AI/ML, Quantum Computing, Biotechnology, Advanced Materials, Autonomous Systems (UAVs/USVs), Hypersonics, and Cyber.\nTechnology Scouting & Assessment: Eight (8) years’ experience identifying and evaluating nascent technologies from academia, startups, and international sources.\nRed Teaming & Wargaming Experience: Eight (8) years’ experience planning and executing red team events, tabletop exercises (TTX), or wargames.\nCONOPS Development: Five (5) years’ experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPS).\nDemonstrated ability to articulate how a new technology would be integrated into military operations—how it would be deployed, used, maintained, and supported from a practical standpoint . Military or DoW experience.\nFive (5) years’ experience interfacing with Joint Staff, Military Services, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results.\nDemonstrated experience with military or intelligence community red teaming.\nAdditional technical background in one or more of the technical areas outlined in PWS Section 5.1.1 (TS/SCI (SAP eligible).\n\nRequired Skills and Education:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in web design, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.\n\nSecurity Clearance:\nTS/SCI\n\nWhen you work for JRAD you will never be just a number.
