Working under the direction of experienced electricians, this position supports the installation of electrical systems in commercial environments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\r\nProject Preparation & Setup\r\nRead and interpret plans and specifications for assigned projects.\r\nPrepare work areas for the installation of equipment.\r\nSet up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.\r\nInstallation Support\r\nAssist with all aspects of commercial electrical installation according to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.\r\nMeasure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.\r\nAssist in mounting and strapping conduit.\r\nConnect wiring and equipment per code and job specifications.\r\nDocumentation & Communication\r\nCommunicate job status, issues, and recommendations to management in a timely manner.\r\nProvide accurate and timely documentation of work performed.\r\nSafety & Compliance\r\nOperate company or personal vehicle in compliance with all local laws.\r\nAdhere to safety protocols and operate vehicles and equipment safely.\r\nReport hazards and risks promptly; contribute to a safe and secure working environment.\r\nCompetencies\r\nBasic understanding of electrical tools, equipment, and installation techniques.\r\nAbility to read and interpret plans and specifications.\r\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety.\r\nEffective communication skills with team members and supervisors.\r\nReliability and a strong work ethic.\r\nWork Environment\r\nWork is performed in active construction environments and may include exposure to elevated temperatures, energized equipment, and loud noise.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nMust be able to conduct site walks, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be comfortable working in manufacturing and job site environments.\r\nTravel\r\nTravel between job sites may be required.\r\nRequired Education and Experience\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\r\n14 years of experience in the field or related area.\r\nEnrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program within 1 year of hire.\r\nValid drivers license in good standing.\r\nPreferred Education and Experience\r\nExperience working in data centers.\r\nCompudynamics Pay Range: $20 — $30 USD\r\nCompudynamics offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, well-being, and growth of our team members.
