About the Columbus River DragonsThe Columbus River Dragons, members of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) since 2019, are a professional hockey team located in Columbus, Georgia. Position Summary Are you passionate about sports and interested in building a career in sales, sports management, or professional athletics? We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our organization as Sales & Ticketing Interns. This is a commission-eligible internship designed to provide hands-on experience in the business side of professional sports. No prior sales or sports industry experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment. This internship is available immediately and offers flexible participation. Interns may choose to complete a summer internship, a full-season internship, or remain with the organization for an extended period based on their goals and availability. ResponsibilitiesGenerate new ticket sales through outbound calls, emails, networking, and community outreach.Sell group ticket packages to businesses, schools, youth organizations, and community groups.Promote and sell premium hospitality products, including suites, party pits, and other VIP experiences.Assist with lead generation and prospecting efforts.Build and maintain relationships with clients and community partners.Support game-day sales initiatives and fan engagement activities.Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and organizational events.Collaborate with team members across multiple departments to help achieve organizational goals. CompensationUnpaid internship.Commission opportunities available based on ticket and premium sales performance.
