Teacher Assistant - Toddlers and 2's

**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our early childhood education team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teachers to ensure that our students receive the highest level of care and education. **Responsibilities:** - Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our preschool students - Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs, to help them achieve their educational goals - Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment - Support students with behavioral challenges and develop strategies to promote positive behavior management - Encourage students to develop social skills, independence, and self-confidence - Assist with daily activities, such as snack time, circle time, and outdoor play - Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement - Engage in ongoing professional development to improve teaching practices and stay current with best practices in early childhood education **Qualifications:** - Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting - Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management - Strong knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles - Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities - Experience daycare is preferred - Knowledge of educational software and technology is an asset **Skills:** - Educate - Experience working with students - Classroom - Preschool - Childcare - Childhood development - Early childhood education Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
