Job Description Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remodel and Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial remodeling projects, with a strong background in finish carpentry, framing, and installation work. This role involves transforming spaces through precise craftsmanship, utilizing various tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. Candidates should be comfortable working on diverse projects, including restoration, renovation, and custom fabrication, in a fast-paced construction environment.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.DutiesExecute detailed trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinetry work to meet project specifications.Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication techniques for precise cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials.Conduct drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and roofing as required for project completion.Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on-site.Perform plumbing or electrical tasks if qualified or assist licensed trades during projects.Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsProven experience in construction, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general remodeling projects.Knowledge in schematics, drywall finishing, roofing, siding installation, and cabinetry is a plus.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and fabrication techniques.Experience with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces as needed.Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Valid experience in construction site safety protocols.Strong communication skills with the ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions.
