Sr. Graphic Designer

Position Overview 6th Sense Outdoors is seeking a Sr. Graphic Designer/Apparel Designer who wants to be a valuable part of a fast-growing team in the outdoors industry. We are a family-owned outdoors company started in 2008 with multiple well-known brands in fishing, hunting, and outdoor apparel including 6th Sense Fishing, Waterland Sunglasses, and more. This Senior Graphic Designer position is an upper level working role, working in a team approach with other Designers and the Creative Director on a variety of projects and assignments. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who is able to process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. You must be a strong conceptual thinker! Key Functions and Duties Provide strong ideas/concepts for new product launches and marketing campaigns Develop creative assets for various marketing projects, including but not limited to website graphics, social media ads, email blasts, in-store signage, and product packaging. Contribute to layout, typography, and photography decisions Create illustrations and graphics for apparel Take direction from Creative Director Take in constructive criticism and produce quality work Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects Organize and manage creative asset Skills and Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on digital media and product packaging A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work is essential Outdoors Enthusiast: A genuine passion for the outdoors and a deep understanding of the outdoors lifestyle (hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, etc.) This passion should translate into your design work, creating compelling visual narratives Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Working knowledge of photography a plus Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively, pushing the boundaries of design to create fresh, engaging, and visually stunning content Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of design output and consistency in brand representation Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements As a Senior Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging visual experiences that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand over various platforms Visual Content Creation: Lead the design process for a wide range of visual content, including but not limited to graphics, illustrations, social media assets, website elements, marketing materials, and product packaging Brand Identity: Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects Continually evolve and elevate our brand identity while maintaining a strong connection to our core values and mission User-Centric Design: Understand the needs and preferences of our audience to create user-centric designs that enhance user experience and engagement on our digital platforms Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to integrate design elements seamlessly into various projects Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and actively contribute to the growth of the design team Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, sports industry innovations, and emerging technologies Apply this knowledge to design concepts and stay ahead of the competition Project Management: Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Life insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Willis, TX 77318 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Willis, TX 77318: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
