We are committed to creating quality products that are safe, precise, and clean for the industries we serve.\n\nResponsibilities\nThe Quality Inspector position is part of the Quality Team and reports to the Quality Manager. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):\n\nHow This Role Impacts-And Provides Value To-Others\nPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calibrated tools and equipment..\nPerform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with applicable requirements and standards.\nIdentify and document defects or non-conformities and segregate or reject nonconforming products and materials.\nInspect in-process production by verifying specifications through visual checks and measurement testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nApprove finished products by confirming specifications through visual and dimensional inspections, managing rework activities, and verifying reworked product conformity.\nDevelop, maintain, and update inspection checklists, quality records, and related documentation.\nReport quality issues, anomalies, and recurring trends to the Quality team for review and corrective action.\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to enhance quality control and manufacturing processes.\nPerform Administrative tasks to maintain compliance to the Quality Management System\nAdditional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager\n\nSystems Used\nMicrosoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)\nSyteLine\nUKG\n\nRequirements\nHigh School diploma or GED\nExperience as an Inspection or Quality Technician\nUnderstanding of basic and shop mathematics required\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nProficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools\nAbility to use electrical testing equipment such as multi-meter (preferred)\nStrong visual inspection skills and attention to detail.\nAdvanced organizational skills.\nAbility to analyze and interpret technical information.\n\nCompensation\nThis position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus.
