This Role:
Our team is currently seeking a Production Scheduler based at our facility in Huntsville, AL.
What You Will Do:
The Production Scheduler manages daily/weekly/monthly build schedule to ensure customer delivery targets are met.
How You Will Do It:
Scheduling the daily production of multiple manufacturing departments based on labor, material and equipment availability
Reviews and consolidates daily customer orders to build production schedule and material requirements.
Identifies potential delays, and proactively seeks solutions working cross-functionally with appropriate personnel
Daily communication with plant manager regarding priorities and resources
Communicate lead-times and expected completion dates to the sales team
Hosts daily production meeting with Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and sales to identify challenges and solutions to meet customer order fulfillment dates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and expedite planned builds
Identifies alternate solutions to meet customer delivery metrics. Reports and escalates potential and existing late customer deliveries
Other duties as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For:
Candidates who offer:
3+ years of equivalent related experience.
Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Positive “can do” attitude, professional demeanor, performance oriented, and strong customer focus.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Must be U.S. Persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Work Environment:
Candidate will need ability to be safely move throughout plant, including standing, bending, and occasional lifting. Due to the metal nature of materials used in this facility, PPE will include steel toed shoes, protective eyewear, and arm sleeves.
