OverviewFarm Credit Mid-America is a financial services cooperative serving farmers and rural residents in Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee. Our purpose is to secure the future of rural communities and agriculture, and to create positive customer experiences for our members.Compensation includes a base salary range of 127,878.00 to 289,501.00 plus potential variable compensation. Base pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.Schedule: Full Time, Hybrid. Travel Required: 50% – 75% About Our OpportunityThe Regional Vice President of Agricultural Lending provides strategic leadership of the retail sales team in achieving portfolio growth while maintaining sound loan quality and credit administration. They lead, coach, and develop Financial Officers to deliver an exceptional customer experience through financial services aligned with regional, state, and association goals.Regional Vice Presidents lead broad, multisite or multistate business areas, with responsibility for performance, relationships, and long-term regional success. They drive strategic execution through sales professionals, elevate regional consistency, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus across dispersed teams and geographies. Establishes and maintains a positive work environment that promotes continuous learning, development, recruitment, and retention of highly effective employees.Coordinates and collaborates with association leaders to support overall customer experience and sales delivery, driving consistency and success through committees, projects, and strategic initiatives.Achieves results through remote leadership of regional team members and by influencing others across the organization.Leads and coaches others, setting direction, evaluating performance, and making employment decisions related to performance and compensation.Leads the region’s business development plan, marketplace analysis, and marketing plans; engages in regional growth from an advocacy perspective.Grants authorities, sets standards, evaluates performance, and coaches for skill development; ensures effective review of credit analysis, regulatory and procedural compliance.Monitors loan portfolio quality, establishes lending authorities, and reviews loans.Conducts joint sales calls and credit administration reviews to coach and develop sales team members; provides feedback to ensure a consistent customer experience.Provides strategic leadership across multiple territories, locations, or markets.Develops sales professionals through coaching, clarity, and performance management.Aligns regional goals with enterprise strategies and objectives; strengthens operational consistency and customer experience across the region.Builds strong relationships with customers, partners, and community stakeholders.Evaluates performance trends and makes decisions that support sustainable growth. Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.Establishes trust and operating discipline for a dispersed sales team, delivering consistent execution and reliable growth. Represents the brand with professionalism and anchors work in purpose.Credit experience and agricultural knowledge preferred.Prior people leadership experience preferred. Mental & Physical RequirementsWhile engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, with occasional needs to reach with hands and arms and to lift or move up to ten pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
