Our business has grown to include not only flooring, but also a full offering of cabinetry and a Stone Division where we fabricate our own Granite and Quartz.\nShift Hours\nCan Vary; Generally Monday-Friday 7am-3pm\nPosition Summary\nWe have an immediate opening for a Production Associate to assist in stone material handling and inventory control. Experience is a definite plus, however, we are willing to train the right person.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nReceive (document) materials returned from fabrication to inventory.\nVerify quantities, products and condition of all materials received.\nPlace all products received in appropriate locations.\nMaintain the cleanliness and neatness of all work areas.\nProcess appropriate paperwork regarding all materials.\nReceiving of new inventory via inventory documentation process.\nSelecting and transporting inventory per custom job requirements.\nAssist with periodic physical inventory counting.\nPeriodic disposal of company trash to the dumpster.\nAssist in various areas production facility as needed.\nAssist Stone Manager as needed.\nOperation of a fork lift and guiding stone slabs and remnants.\nQuality inspection of incoming materials as well as material delivered to the production floor.\nOther duties and responsibilities.\nCompetencies\nKnowledge:\nUnderstanding of the quality control inspection process for receiving and handling of materials\nA great working knowledge of tools used in this industry\nKnowledge of safe slab handling practices\nFork Truck experience preferred but not required\nSkills:\nDynamic problem-solving skills\nStrong communication skills and great customer service\nMaterial lay-out and all technical expertise\nAbilities:\nProfessional demeanor and appearance\nProcess driven and technology savvy\nAbility to handle heavy material while practicing safe lifting to prevent injury of oneself or others\nA valid driver's license with an insurable driving record\nExperience\nExperience in granite/quartz polishing and solid surface sanding is a plus\nWho you will work with\nStone fabricators and installers, Machine Operators, Team Leads, Stone Manager\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to lift 50 pounds repetitively and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.\nBenefits\nAfter an onboarding period, the company benefits package includes health insurance with prescription coverage, dental, vision, short-term disability, company funded life insurance, company funded HSA, company matching 401K eligibility, and paid time off.
