Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.\nRole\n\nThe Material handler performs various duties to transport material throughout the manufacturing facility and process inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nUnload, receive, and inspect incoming materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders for accuracy, shortages, or damages.\nSafely operate forklifts to efficiently load and unload trucks.\nPrepare and process all shipment, transfer, receipt, and pick paperwork accurately.\nAccurately pick parts for orders using established picklists.\nHandle all material returns efficiently, ensuring proper documentation.\nExecute material transactions using “scan to transact” technology.\nPackage materials securely to prevent damage during transit.\nTransport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility using lift trucks.\nAssist in other departments or areas as assigned.\nDuties and Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPrevious experience with Inventory Management systems (M2M) desired\nUnderstand safety regulations and protocols\nExperience driving forklifts is strongly desired\nMust be legally able to work in the United States\nMust have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment\n\nPiovanGroup is a world leader in the development and production of systems for the automation of production processes for the storage, transport and treatment of polymers, plastic, and food powders.
