Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift

Shipping ClerkWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation of shipments, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external carriers to ensure efficient and compliant logistics operations.The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and experienced in shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, process, and manage outbound shipments while receiving and organizing incoming deliveriesGenerate and maintain shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping labels, and required recordsTrack shipments and resolve discrepancies related to weight, documentation, or inventoryVerify trailer seals, capture required shipment photos, and ensure compliance with shipping protocolsReceive, inspect, and distribute incoming shipments accurately and efficientlyCheck drivers in and out while ensuring proper completion of all required paperworkCollaborate with Shipping Leads to verify shipment weights prior to loading trucksRecord pallet counts, bag information, and inbound SS data into tracking spreadsheetsComplete organic affidavits and ensure accurate documentation of all shipmentsCommunicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipmentsMaintain compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operationsRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data and documentationExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and external carriersProficiency in data entry, reporting, and spreadsheet management (Microsoft Excel required)Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferredAbility to analyze information and resolve discrepancies effectivelyQualifications1–2 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or dispatching roleExperience working with warehouse operations and inventory systemsBasic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills requiredExperience with WMS or similar database systems strongly preferredAdditional RequirementsEnglish proficiency preferredMust be able to commute to Pooler, GA 31322Relocation to the area prior to start is preferred
