Senior Weapons System Technician II

Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time CIWS Technician II in San Diego, CA.Summary: Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard ships of the U.S. Navy weapons systems.Duties and Responsibilities:oDirect, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:o MK45 MOD 2o MK45 MOD 4o MK38 MOD 2o MK38 MOD 3o MK110 Gun Mountso MK46o Small Armso Night Vision Deviceso Crew Served Weapons and Mountso Magazine Sprinkler Systems (Legacy)o Magazine Sprinkler Systems (Fairmont, Consilium, FDAS)• Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.• Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance10+ years of related experience with MK45 MOD2 or MK45 MOD4Navy Gunner's Mate "A" School graduateNavy 5"/54 MK45 MOD2 "C" School or Navy 5"/54 MK45 MOD4 "C" School graduateAdvanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systemsStrong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standardsEffective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or writtenProficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.Pay Range:The pay range for this role is $32.30-$48.00 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role.
