ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION: The Beautician is responsible for meeting the beauty/grooming needs of the Residents of the Senior Living buildings as scheduled by appointment and for acting as an advocate for Residents and/or family members. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND POSITION ACTIVITIES: 1) Meets the beauty/grooming needs of the Residents of the Senior Living buildings as scheduled. · Maintains achievable schedule of appointments as called in by Residents, family members, nursing, etc. · Maintains adequate supplies to meet scheduled and unscheduled needs of the Residents. · Submits invoices, or arranges for such, for supplies to the Business Office for payment. · Performs beauty functions, i.e., hair washing, hair cuts, sets, coloring, etc., according to acceptable standards. · Maintains licensure/certification as required by the State of Illinois and provides Human Resources with a copy of the current license/certificate.
