We are currently looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to work on our online assessment and Business Intelligence platforms. This position will be responsible for developing new applications and maintaining existing applications along with developing and maintaining unit and behavior tests. This role requires a versatile skill set that includes expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, and the ability to work on databases and server-side logic. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, approachable team player willing to accept varying roles and responsibilities by project.\nThe ideal candidate will have the following:\n3+ years of experience in web development using front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks)\n2+ years of experience with back-end development and server-side languages/frameworks (.NET (C#), Node.js)\nExperience using libraries such as Reactjs for building user interfaces\nKnowledge of Microservices, Containers and cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes etc.\nAbility to write basic CRUD queries for mongodb and t-sql\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security\nExperience using unit and behavior test frameworks, libraries and tools\nFamiliarity with responsive design concepts and practices\nFamiliarity with commercial and open source development environments and tools for purposes such as source control, continuous integration, IDE etc\nExposure to Agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent experience\nPreferred candidate will be local to the San Antonio area or reside within the state of Texas.\nBackground check required\nWe are committed to surrounding ourselves with smart, highly-skilled problem solvers who thrive both independently and as team members.
