participate in Kaizen and GEAR activitiesAdvise management of any potential problems or concerns and any opportunities for improvementFollow all departmental and general procedures where applicable Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of MIOSHAWork in compliance and conform to Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standardsBasic RequirementsGrade 12 or equivalent educationProven experience in:Production planning & scheduling (preferably in the automotive industry)Experience in Inventory ControlExperience with Shipping/ReceivingSolid knowledge of MRP systems and computersExcellent English communications skills both written and verbal.Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervisionAble to successfully interact with all levels of employees in the organizationStrong problem-solving techniquesStrong attention to detail and accuracyA valid Forklift license would be an asset, but training can be providedMust have no restrictions regarding travel to Canada (training will take place in Toronto area office)To learn more about Multimatic, check out our youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psOjJIh3t90If you are interested in this position, apply by sending us your cover letter and resume.We thank all interested candidates in advance;
