Responsibilities include: cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit on shift. In this role, you will lead a team of frontline employees within the maintenance department (mechanics/technicians).\nMajor Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities:\nEnsure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity\nDeploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities\nImplement process improvements to drive package and flavor changeover efficiency\nUtilize visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plant performance\nTrack standard manufacturing and warehouse metrics and prioritize plant maintenance opportunities\nEnsure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)\nDevelop a team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals\nDeliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact\nCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues\nBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel\nMotivate team members to achieve plan goals\nAdminister policies and procedures\nRegular and predictable attendance at the work site\nPrioritize work requests\nThis role requires regular presence on the plant floor, lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally, may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally and occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.\nThis role may require off-shift and weekend work\nSome travel (less than 5%)\nAnnual Salary Range: USD 70,000$ - USD 80,000$\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field\nLean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project\n5+ years of operations maintenance experience preferred; 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred\nMechanical & electrical experience maintaining equipment\nUnderstanding of PLC programming preferred\nProficient in Microsoft Suite applications\nAbility to give and receive constructive feedback\nAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision-making\nShown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others\nEffective mentoring, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills\nThis position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States\nMust have a valid driver’s license\nSafe driving record strongly preferred\nNote: Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
