The Working Foreman will combine fieldwork with supervisory responsibilitiessetting up work, performing and inspecting masonry and construction activities, coordinating crews and materials, enforcing safety and quality standards, and communicating with project management to deliver projects on time and on budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coordinate and supervise daily activities of construction crews while participating in hands-on work as needed.\nPerform and inspect masonry work (brick, block, stone) to ensure quality and adherence to plans and specifications.\nInterpret drawings, plans and specifications; lay out work and provide clear instructions to crew members.\nPlan and sequence daily and weekly tasks to meet schedule milestones and optimize crew productivity.\nCoordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors; maintain proper staging and inventory of materials on site.\nEnforce company and regulatory safety policies; conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE and safe work practices are followed.\nTrain, mentor and evaluate crew members; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.\nConduct quality control inspections, identify defects or rework, and correct issues promptly to maintain workmanship standards.\nDocument labor hours, daily reports, progress photos, and site conditions; communicate progress and issues to project management and clients.\nAssist with basic estimating of labor needs, site setup, and bid preparation as requested.\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of construction experience with significant masonry experience (brick, block, stone) must have.\nProven supervisory/foreman experience, including leadership of multi-person crews must have.\nStrong hands-on skills in general construction and masonry trade tasks must have.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout plans.\nSolid knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment required for masonry and related trades.\nCommitment to jobsite safety and experience enforcing safety protocols; OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate crews, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.\nPhysical ability to perform and supervise demanding field work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.\nValid drivers license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites as required.\nNice-to-have: experience in commercial construction, hardscapes (pavers, retaining walls, patios), and landscape construction.\nBenefits\nGenerous vehicle allowance\nGas Card\nMileage compensation\nHealth, dental, vision insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Holidays\n\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
