Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting LTAMDS.Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to work across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.Lead Testing Efforts: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.Present Findings: Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLABExperience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.Experience with model-based engineering.Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
