As a Front Desk Clerk in our Foot Care Department, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients—ensuring a positive experience while supporting essential registration, scheduling, and administrative functions. This role supports the clinic through scheduling, registration, and administrative coordination while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations. Primary Responsibilities Assist with patient registration and ensure all demographic and insurance information is accurate and complete Schedule appointments in alignment with foot care workflows and procedures Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone in a professional manner Maintain patient records, documentation, and filing systems accurately and timely Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical record system Collect and process referrals and required supporting documentation Assist patients in completing required forms and documentation Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients to support coordination of care Handle clerical duties including phone, fax, and administrative support Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA Support workflow efficiency and communicate scheduling updates or delays to staff Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing department initiatives.
