The facility provides 24/7 hospitalist support, anesthesiology coverage, and radiology services, ensuring excellent patient care with strong clinical support systems in place.Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology servicesRound on patients and respond to emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveriesAvailable for emergent gynecological procedures as neededHandle low-risk pregnancies and routine deliveries including vaginal and cesarean sectionsManage complicated deliveries including breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptionsPerform decision-making for c-sections and VBAC proceduresConduct routine delivery procedures including low forceps deliveriesRepair 3rd and 4th degree lacerationsProvide office/minor gynecology services including IUD procedures, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEPPerform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic proceduresHandle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, and cystectomyMust maintain active NC license, NC DEA, and NC Medicaid credentialsMust be currently enrolled with PECOS as a providerBoard certification required with laser certificationMust be actively delivering babies with case logs from past 24 months requiredMust be fully vaccinated and available within 20 minutes per hospital bylawsHospital apartments provided adjacent to facilityAverage 27 deliveries monthly with 11 C-sections, typically 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour periodCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.by Jobble
