Responsibilities:\nDesign enterprise network architectures supporting cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure.\nDevelop secure network solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, SD-WAN, and cloud networking technologies.\nSupport modernization initiatives involving hybrid cloud, virtualization, and data center transformation.\nConfigure and optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, routing, and switching infrastructure.\nDevelop network architecture documentation, diagrams, implementation plans, and technical standards.\nCollaborate with systems engineers, virtualization teams, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with Department of State security requirements, NIST, FISMA, RMF, and Zero Trust Architecture.\nTroubleshoot complex network performance and security issues.\nSupport disaster recovery, high availability, and continuity of operations planning.\nParticipate in technical reviews, architecture boards, and change management activities.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n8+ years of enterprise network engineering and architecture experience.\nExperience supporting federal government or DoD/DOS environments.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and cloud networking.\nExperience with VMware, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, or similar cloud platforms.\nPreferred Certifications\nCCNP or CCIE\nVMware VCP-NV\nPalo Alto PCNSE\nCISSP\nAWS or Azure Networking Specialty\nSecurity+ CE or higher DoD 8570/8140 certification\nClearance Requirement\nActive security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)\nAbout Acuity\nAt Acuity, your work matters—and so does your experience.
