The role supports cybersecurity operations by integrating scripting with vulnerability scanning and patch management tools.This role will work EST hours and is preferably located in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte / Raleigh NC.Duties And ResponsibilitiesIntegrate security tools with automation frameworks to streamline vulnerability managementAnalyze vulnerability reports from tools such as Tenable Nessus, Qualys VMDR, and Rapid7 InsightVMAutomate patch deployment and compliance checks across systemsCreate scripts to collect system data, logs, and security metricsAssist in remediation of vulnerabilities on Windows Server and endpoint systemsDevelop reporting and dashboards for vulnerability statusSupport security audits and compliance requirementsWork with IT and security teams to improve remediation workflowsSkills And QualificationsMinimum 3 to 4+ years of experienceScripting professional with Sysprep (systems preparation) experience capable of creating SCCM Task Sequencing for Image deliveryExperienced with validation scripts written in PowerShell to perform customizations and validate settings or app installsExperience with Windows Servers and troubleshooting with server performanceExperience supporting an enterprise SCCM environment with enterprise endpointsExperience in Citrix virtual environments hosted with VMWare or Nutanix Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, Windows system administration, and vulnerability management, with experience automating security tasks and integrating vulnerability scanners into operational workflowsMust be self motivated; will seek out issues to remediate without instructionStrong communication skillsTechnical background in vulnerability / PowershellMust be detail-orientedMust be proactive in identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities, and skilled at creating automated solutions that improve security compliance and efficiencyWage RangeThe rate for this position is between $35.25 - $47.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
