{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3cf0a4e1dd8df4c2b5a3bba9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3cf0a4e1dd8df4c2b5a3bba9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3cf0a4e1dd8df4c2b5a3bba9","title":"Facilities Engineer I","description":"Purpose of Job\nThis position is responsible for managing and executing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks supporting multiple facilities.\nJob Functions\nCan independently execute the following functions: basic/finish carpentry, basic electrical tasks, small equipment operation, basic plumbing tasks, physical movement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.\nCan execute the following functions under supervision/guidance from others: lawncare, lock, key and hardware tasks, motor repair, pump repair, hospital beds, kitchen equipment, medical gas and air systems, water softening systems, domestic hot/cold water systems.\nDemonstrates the ability to independently troubleshoot, identify, follow up and correct a variety of building deficiencies.\nCoordinates assigned areas of responsibility to ensure efficient and effective operations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Education/Work Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nAbility to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions\nAbility to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize\nDemonstrates effective skills in planning and organizing daily activities\nKnowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to work autonomously and as a team\nLicense/Certifications\nHazardous Spill Certification within 1 year of employment, annually thereafter\nAsbestos Awareness Certification within 1 year of employment, annually thereafter\nOSHA Certification within 1 year of employment, annually thereafter\nPreferred Qualifications\n2 years of work experience in a healthcare setting\nCPR Certification\nPhysical Demands of this Position\nCompensation\nMany factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
