This is a high-impact role supporting one of EA's largest regional clients across multiple project sites and states in the Pacific Northwest.\nIf you're passionate about environmental compliance, eager to lead complex programs, and looking for a flexible, career-growing opportunity — we want to hear from you!\nResponsibilities\nManage and drive environmental compliance initiatives from strategy to execution.\nEnsure program goals are met with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.\nProvide expert support on compliance topics such as:\nIndustrial & municipal stormwater\nSPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure)\nWaste management\nWastewater operations\nServe as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.\nLead development of key documents including SPCC Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Discharge Monitoring Reports\nMentor junior and mid-level staff in:\nStormwater and industrial site inspections and sampling\nWaste management practices and documentation\nCompliance training delivery (SPCC, stormwater, waste, etc.)\nRegulatory audits, assessments, and corrective action plans\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities.\nLead proposal development, budgeting, and scope preparation for RFPs and RFQs.\nAssist clients in achieving sustainability, climate resilience, and regulatory alignment goals.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\n15+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance and EHS roles.\nExtensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.\nPractical experience in field inspections, environmental sampling, and regulatory audits.\nProven ability to develop and manage complex environmental programs.\nStrong project management skills, including multitasking across multiple client sites and deliverables.\nDemonstrated experience mentoring staff and building high-performing teams.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successful client management.\nSuccessful experience with business development, proposal writing, and client expansion.\nNote: This position requires specific driving duties.
