This role will lead the architecture and management of cloud data infrastructure across AWS and Snowflake, leveraging automation and advanced database technologies to support enterprise analytics and data processing pipelines.\nThe ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, AWS database services, Snowflake, data architecture, performance optimization, security, automation, and cloud infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect scalable, high-performance, and secure database solutions across AWS and Snowflake.\nOperate AWS database and processing services, including RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, EMR, Neptune, and ElastiCache.\nManage, optimize, and integrate high-performance AWS EMR clusters while minimizing operational costs.\nIntegrate databases with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, and Glue.\nApply IAM, encryption, VPC, and Security Group best practices to meet data security and compliance requirements.\nDesign and implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and failover solutions, including Multi-AZ deployments and read replicas.\nTroubleshoot AWS-related database issues and production incidents.\nDesign, implement, and manage virtual data warehouses in Snowflake.\nDevelop complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and reporting.\nOptimize database performance through query tuning, caching, clustering, indexing, and auto-scaling.\nEnsure compliance with SSA security, privacy, and data management policies.\nDeliver technical briefings and presentations to management, clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.\nProvide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.\nLead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation for complex data and database projects.\nDevelop and maintain database automation using infrastructure-as-code and scripting technologies.\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree with 5+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related discipline;
