This person will proactively work with senior members of the Managed Services practice to provide exceptional support for our managed client portfolio.\nResponsibilities\nReact and resolve cases submitted or automatically alerted by monitoring tools.\nTroubleshoot basic issues and provide solution options and recommendations.\nPerform minor software upgrades on network infrastructure.\nConduct proactive performance assessments of clients' network environments, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.\nAid other team members in the resolution of cases within the scope of the skillset.\nAssist with information gathering and reporting to either clients or Client Success Managers.\nCollaborate with senior engineers to escalate issues as needed.\nDevelop, maintain, and update technical knowledge base articles.\nInteract with clients on an as needed basis through virtual meetings, phone calls, email, or messaging.\nCollaboration with peers across Managed Services practice.\nParticipate in on-call rotation.\nAfter-hours / weekend work may be required.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n1 -3 years in Cisco or other network related environments.\nAccountability to drive resolution to completion.\nFamiliarity with Cisco networking equipment and technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and sense of ownership.\nExperience working for an MSP.\nAdvanced degree or relevant certifications in Information Technology, or a related field are a plus.\nHave or working toward entry level certifications, e.g. CCNA, Azure Fundamentals, etc.\nExperience navigating ticketing systems, e.g. Service Now.\nExperience using monitoring tools, e.g. Logic Monitor.\n$70,000 - $90,000 a year\nIn addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
