Stardust is a showcase of exceptional cuisine, elegant surroundings, and knowledgeable, diverse staff.\n\nWe are looking for an experienced front of house professional with a good knowledge base of fine dining etiquette, wine service, and high end spirits. Bartending experience is a plus.\n\nThe candidate that we are looking for is a mature, team player with flexible availability.\n\nFull and Part-Time Scheduling Available.\n\nResponsibilities:\n- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers\n- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences\n- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area\n- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age\n- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to prevent overconsumption or disturbances\n- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately\n- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders\n- Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers\n\nRequirements:\n- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role\n- Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations\n- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials\n- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages\n- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures\n- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring drinks, and garnishing beverages\n- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner\n- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills\n- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus\n- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment\n- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required\n\nNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
