The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, developing and updating care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring responses. The role includes collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, communicating with patients and families, and providing education on diagnoses, medications, and care plans. The Registered Nurse will document all care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards, ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed, and participate in care conferences and shift handoffs. Housing can be negotiatedQualificationsActive, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of patient status.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families in a respectful, professional manner.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients, adapt to changing clinical needs, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), documentation standards, and relevant regulatory and safety requirements.Commitment to person-centered, culturally sensitive care and maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality at all times.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or other specialty certifications preferred, depending on care setting.Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or a similar clinical environment preferred, but qualified new graduates may be considered.Ability to work full-time on-site in Winona, MN, including potential evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
