They are responsible for gathering VOC from key stakeholders and managing the pipeline that leads the introduction of these new products/process for the organization and support future visions for production and customer support for wheel-end products.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nSafety\n\nEmbrace the values of the EnPro/STEMCO safety pledge in each of the below responsibilities. Participate in the organization’s safety culture and aim to continuously improve safety within all aspects of your work.\n\nRespect\n\nFoster a work environment that promotes mutual respect of all colleagues and creates an environment focused on a dual-bottom line.\n\nExcellence\n\nPromote the STEMCO / Enpro Culture by exhibiting the five principles of exemplary leadership: Modeling the Way, Inspiring a Shared Vision, Enabling Others to Act, Challenging the Process, and Encouraging the Heart.\nLeader for wheel-end product lines in continuously improving the cross-functional development process (concept-to-commercialization)\nEstablish & track program goals to ensure adequate planning/scheduling of manpower & resources to satisfy identified project execution\nReport progress of program goals, communicating risks, opportunities & status of design project against established milestones.\nWork with commercial, external customers, industry organization (TMC/SAE), operations, and supply teams to gather VOC for new product/process pipeline vision.\nTalent management of team using tools such as individual development plans, skills matrix, and business evaluation tools.\nJob Requirements and Qualifications\n\nMinimum Education (or Equivalent)\n\nHigh School\n2 Years College\nX Bachelor’s Degree\n\nMaster’s Degree\nPHD\nTechnical Certificate or Trade School Degree\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required\n\nMinimum requirement of BS Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical credentials.\n5 years minimum in experience in technical supervisory role, creating department vision and hiring talent.\n5 years of project management experience in new product/process development.\n5 years of experience in supplier evaluation and following ISO Quality standards in supplier approval and product/process releases.\nExcellent interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communication.\nAble to work dynamically in a cross-functional environment\nMentor and coach team to be able to develop specifications, proposals, and present them effectively within the organization.\nStrong capabilities with Microsoft Office 365 software\n5 years of experience in seal design or commercial vehicle industry (preferred).\nWorking knowledge of SolidWorks (preferred).\n\nMinimum Experience\n\nLess than 1 year\n1+ to 2 years\n2+to 5 years\n\nX 5+ to 7 years\n7 + to 10 Years\n10+ Years\n\nSTEMCO is a subsidiary of Enpro, a leading industrial technology company focused on critical applications across many end-markets, including semiconductor, industrial process, commercial vehicle, sustainable power generation, aerospace, food and pharma, photonics and life sciences.\nAt Enpro, we believe that diversity drives innovation and inclusion fosters growth.
