Senior Accountant

This role plays a critical part in managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong accounting foundation, and is eager to contribute to a growing organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records for multiple propertiesPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L and balance sheet).Perform entity consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet account reviews.Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.Review balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.Partner with the Controller and CFO on financial analysis, reporting, and process improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting experience - real estate / property Accounting a plusStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards..Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Interested candidates please reach out to: sdardeno@sdlsearch.com
