Your role will be to ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality our customers expect. At Associated Materials, we believe excellent results begin with you!\nKey Responsibilities\nStage window frame on mulling table and pre-drill holes for mulling screws in medal reinforcement.\nApply caulk to mulling strip and snap mulling strip to window then insert reinforcement.\nCheck that units are flush at the top and fasten mulling strip and reinforcement with screws.\nApply the bottom gasket and gusset plate to bottom of unit, followed by the top.\nCaulk mullion strip front and back and clean excess caulk off window.\nInsert sash and screen in windows.\nCut and apply header expander and sill angle/\nWrap units for shipping\nApply wood jamb\nApply wood reinforcement for larger units for stability in shipping\nCut nail fin off NC units\nApply rain channel to NC windows\nLift picture windows and flip\nC class mull larger unit\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required\nPerform tasks in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to read and comprehend English language\nAbility to use hand tools such as snips or chisel\nMust be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure\nBe dependable and on-time with attendance\nBe flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plant\nWork well with others on the team\nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily.\nAssociated Materials is a leader in exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
