Job Description The Associate Art Director supports the Sr. Art Directors / Creative Director in concepting and executing seasonal editorial imagery campaigns that push the A&F family of brands forward. They will collaborate with photography, styling, design, product, and strategy teams to develop and share the creative vision each season for the A&F brand. This individual would be accountable for ideating and supporting the creation of original branded content, along with fostering the organization and cross‐functional partnerships required to execute against the overall brand strategy.What Will You Be Doing?Working closely with the Sr. Art Directors / Creative Director on the conceptual development and execution of A&F Adults seasonal editorial campaigns. Building the A&F brand handwriting for a new generation of consumers, building off existing brand foundations.Pre‐Production: Support the concepting and planning of A&F seasonal photoshoots by compiling imagery for mood boards, organizing and updating production details for internal presentations, model casting, communicating with third‐party production companies/vendors on all aspects of shoot production, and building/updating pre‐production decks for external shoot teams in collaboration with Sr AD.Post‐Production: Supporting Sr AD/Creative Director on finalizing photography edits, organizing imagery of all mediums through to finalization, collaborating as needed in post‐production with retouching and design partners, organizing within A&F platforms.Team Collaboration: Collaborating clearly and effectively with the broader creative team, including A&F AD's, Studio AD's, Social AD's, Styling and Video teams, ensuring all seasonal visuals and content are synergized, telling focused brand stories and fulfilling deliverables across all channels for the A&F brand, and supporting in both preparing and leading presentations of ideas/projects to cross‐functional partners and all levels of leadership.Team Organization: Maintain casting, image, location databases for current and future planning.Other projects and responsibilities as assigned – including supporting the A&F family of brands and the A&F Studio.What Do You Need To Bring?Bachelor's degree in Design, Photography, Advertising or related experience.2+ years of art direction experience in fashion retail or a related industry.On‐set photoshoot experience.Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Keynote, Figma and Mural programs.Experience collaborating with large cross‐functional teams.Clear communication and presentation skills; detail‐oriented; ability to prioritize and bring urgency to tasks.Highly organized and adaptable to change.A passion for and understanding of current trends in fashion, photography, social media, and culture – testing new ideas to further develop and advance the creative voice of the A&F brands.Travel required to GHO in Columbus, Ohio for key meetings, and possible travel for photo shoots.Benefits & Perks As an Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
