Certifying Scientist / LCMS Operator

The team values efficiency and accountability — once the work is completed, there is flexibility in the day-to-day schedule.ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, and release laboratory results using Shimadzu instrumentationPerform final reporting and result verification activitiesAssist with specimen processing and batch managementSupport laboratory instrumentation and basic hardware troubleshootingParticipate in rotating evening batch responsibilities with the laboratory team as neededMaintain accurate laboratory documentation and compliance standardsCollaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround timesAssist with limited PCR testing as needed (training available)QualificationsExperience operating and interpreting results from Shimadzu instrumentation requiredPrior experience with result releasing and final reporting preferredComfortable working in a smaller reference laboratory environment with a hands-on teamAbility to work independently and manage workflow efficientlyStrong troubleshooting and organizational skillsPCR experience is a plus but not requiredClinical laboratory experience preferredCompensation & BenefitsTarget salary: approximately $80,000 annuallyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) eligibility after one yearPTO accrual of 4 hours every two weeksFlexible PTO structure starting at two weeksNo weekendsNo holidaysFlexible scheduling environmentRelaxed workplace culture focused on performance and accountabilityAbout Us:At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories.
